- Snowscooting career
- Ten years
- Why did you take up Snowscooting?
- My motocross sponsor took me for the first time to see Snowscooting at a ski slope in the winter of 2000. With no experience, I could not manage it at all. (I have been told I was a rare case!) At that time, there was no one around to teach me. Out of frustration, I just kept riding it in my own way, hammering the skills into my body. That, I think, explains my style. (“I can do it!”)
- What other sports are you involved in, and what hobbies do you have?
- MX, BMX, MTB, JET, skateboarding, surfing
- What is the most dangerous moment you ever experienced?
- I ride aggressively so there is always some risk - riding with awareness of the danger - and I have experienced numerous "dangerous moments." I don't know why, but I have never been seriously injured. The most dangerous moment is probably when you are riding without thinking of what might happen.
- What is the best thing about Snowscooting for you?
- I think the best riding lets you embrace nature and breathe the good mountain air.
- Please tell us about your riding style and what model you use.
- Tiablo Titanium Frame Blackmountain
I have been riding furiously, dynamically, trying to reach the top and compete in the world championship in France. Recently, though, I have become more attuned to riding gracefully along a long course. But I’m not giving up my competitive approach!
