- Snowscooting career
- Nine years
- Why did you take up Snowscooting?
- First saw it in a bike magazine.
- What other sports are you involved in, and what hobbies do you have?
- Fishing, riding bikes and customizing them.
- What is the most dangerous moment you ever experienced?
- I think when the Snowscoot flew over my head while I was running the half-pipe.
No, wait. Another time, it was the moment I heard a snapping sound at my neck and my right leg became numb, after I could not complete a back flip.
- What is the best thing about Snowscooting for you?
- Although it is a “vehicle,” you can do things with it that you cannot do with any other.
I never get bored because I can always change some setting and ride differently.
- Please tell us about your riding style and what model you use.

Frame: Style-A
Board: Type G
The top tube of the Style-A is short, so I can crouch down deep, and it has a cool curve. With less of a bank angle, the Type-G board is quick to move the body frame. The direction of travel can be adjusted in the middle of a turn not only by sliding the rear board, but by slightly moving the handlebars.
On powdered snow, because of the buoyancy of the rear board, the Snowscoot may drive into the snow from the front. With a little experience, however, you can enjoy wide, stable turns at high speed. Some may not like that the rear board is wider than usual, but I do, to the extent that I can no longer think of riding with any other board than this.
As for my riding style, I particularly like powdered snow. Recently, it has not snowed so heavily, so I try different things. Big kickers and half-pipes can be addictive. Let’s all try to enjoy ourselves, but be careful not to get injured.
